- Tabled at Anderson Valley Wildflower Show, April 29-30, 2006.
- Tabled at 5 Farmer's Markets in July, 2006. Distributed literature including Cal-IPC brochures, Navarro weeds brochure, MCWMA contact info,
weed wrench literature, weed management literature.
- Website updates:
- Online newsletter published: April and July, 2006
- News items posted: updated noxious weed ratings, Japanese dodder alert, State WMA funding update, Cal-HIP newsletter
- Calendar updated.
- Literature abstracts added.
- Weed ID pages updated to include local images.
- Public Meeting Data available from website on private link

- Last Education and Outreach Workgroup meeting held April 6,
2006 [Minutes];
- Proposed sites evaluated for educational value. Highway 1 & 20 site preferred for
visibility, accessibility and generality of issues faced. The site has potential
to demonstrated different approaches to weed debris disposal.
- Next Education and Outreach Workgroup meeting to be determined.
- Plans
- Website updates: reorganize and provide more resources- links, scan more forms, such as State Parks volunteer form and Mendocino Adopt-A-Road Brochure

- Presentation of educational programs in schools- 3 needed for completion of NFWF project
- Prepare and distribute packet of educational materials to nurseries, including invitation to participate in
development of North Coast Regional "Don't Plant A Pest" materials.
- Volunteer needed for MCCET video training.
- Create MCCET spot to advertise October 21-22 work-weekend.
- Photos and locations of local examples of the species on the
roadside survey form, particularly invasive examples of Acacia and Monterey cypress.
- Additional content for website, especially news.
- Editing of Spanish-language version of website.
- Newsletter content.
