- Accomplishments
- Provided maps for Fort Bragg community meeting.
- Schema for databases of roadside survey and experts mapping data developed and tested.
- Data entry into spreadsheets in progress.
- Current state of WIMS (Weed Information Mapping System) 3.x assessed: still not ready to use.
- Oregon noxious weeds reviewed for additions to our initial list.
- Interns hired for surveys, and roadside survey completed on 251 miles of roads. See the
list of roads surveyed.
- Obtained distribution map of Cape Ivy from Mona Robinson.
- Information Management Workgroup meeting held online on March 23, 2006

- Plans
- Use additional help for data entry.
- Convert spreadsheets currently being used to store data into MySQL databases with online forms for
data entry,
- Tara will spend one data a week conducting road surveys, concentrating on the eastern side of the MCWMA.
- Install new chatroom software that will save a transcript of the session.
- Purchase one GPS unit for evaluation.

- In the Weed Information Management System, create a definition of your Management Area, export to a spreadsheet and submit by e-mail. This is needed for documenting weed occurrences. Contact Tara if you need assistance.
- Teams of 2 needed to implement the roadside survey.
- Additional weed distribution information requested.
- State Parks MU layer needed.
