Flaming: a Weed Control Tool in Wildlands, by Ken Moore
Carla Bossard, Ph.D., Professor of Biology at Saint Mary's College of California (http://faculty.stmarys-ca.edu) teaches environmental biology courses, conducts research on control of invasive plants, and has designed and led numerous international travel/study courses for students and teachers. She is the lead editor and author of Invasive Plants of California Wildlands, a founding member of the California Invasive Plant Council (Cal-IPC), and a member of Cal-IPC's Inventory Review Committee. Ken Moore, founder of the Wildlands Restoration Team, Santa Cruz (www.wildwork.org) is an environmental restoration professional with over 40 years of experience in invasive weed control, and author of “Think Heat-An introduction to flaming as a weed control tool in wildlands,” Cal-IPC News, 2004.
